Silently Stand

“When we see Him and know Him as our Savior, we can have confidence in knowing that He wants to rescue us from all of life’s worries and troubles.”

“I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior.” Psalm 62:1 TPT

Mom life. We live it. We know the ins and outs of each day. Hey, we may even have the t-shirt! We know the joys, but we also know the struggles. We are moms. We love, we care, we pray, we feed, we bathe, we work hard at all we do. Most of us can say we feel depleted and down-hearted at times. But can I tell you, friend, that we serve a great and mighty God who sees us in the exact moment where we are. He loves you and wants to renew you and refresh your soul!

All He asks from us is to trust Him.

Trust Him in the good times, trust Him in the bad times. Trust Him when we are uncertain of the next steps, knowing He is there, ready to lead and guide. When we see Him and know Him as our Savior, we can have confidence in knowing that He wants to rescue us from all of life's worries and troubles.

Psalm 62 tells us to stand silently, and wait for as long as God takes. There are times when we need to take time with God and just be still (Psalm 46:10). Clear your mind, open your heart to receive and hear what Father God wants to speak to you. Allow Him to renew your strength and give you the power you need (Psalm 62:11). Trust only in God every moment! Tell Him all of your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to Him (Psalm 62:8).

WHEW!!! I’m ready to go grab my notebook, my Bible and go spend some time with my Savior. I need Him to step into my every day! So what’s stopping us? Let’s go! Let’s allow God to do what He is good at! Be right back fam, momma is needing her strength renewed!

He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?” Psalm 62:2 TPT

  • Listen to “Wait On You” by Elevation Worship & Maverick City

Prayer: Father God, We thank You for always being there for us and loving us unconditionally. Help us to carve out time for You in our daily schedules to allow You to strengthen and renew us. Fill us to overflowing so that we can fill those around us. You, Lord, are so good! We love You and ask this all in Jesus’ name, Amen!
